California lunch service is available between opening and 3:30 pm each day. The menu is deliberately concise, so deciding how much sushi you want is more useful than trying to assemble a long order before you arrive. The menu lists closures on July 4, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day, with 3 pm closing times on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.
SUGARFISH does not take reservations. Come by when your whole party is ready, and the team will seat guests first come, first served. Find a California location for its address, hours, and local visit details.

The meal moves through sashimi, nigiri, and hand rolls rather than arriving as one large plate. Fish is cut to order, rice is served warm and loosely packed, and each course is intended to be eaten as it reaches the table. For a fuller look at the format, see the SUGARFISH approach to food.

Warm rice and fish at its intended temperature are central to the Nozawa style. That is why the menu is paced as a progression instead of a list of isolated pieces. Hand rolls arrive folded to order, when the nori still has its crisp texture.
Trust Me menus are prepared and seasoned in the Nozawa style, without substitutions. Please tell the team about food allergies before ordering. The California menu notes that allergens are present in the kitchen and cross-contamination is possible, so guests with a severe allergy are advised not to eat in the restaurant.
