SUGARFISH grew from a dinner conversation between Chef Kazunori Nozawa and Jerry Greenberg, with a shared goal: make the highest-quality sushi experience more accessible.

A lifetime in pursuit of simple sushi.

Chef Nozawa opened Sushi Nozawa in Los Angeles in 1978. Four decades later, he and the founding team created SUGARFISH around the same standards: hand-selected fish, quality ingredients, and a focused way of serving.

We pair that traditional point of view with the discipline it takes to offer it consistently. The aim is simple: a remarkable sushi experience that feels easy to enjoy.
