SUGARFISH Calabasas is a place to settle in and let the meal unfold. Choose a Trust Me menu, then enjoy a progression of sashimi, nigiri, and hand rolls prepared in the Nozawa style. The fish is cut to order, the rice is warm and loosely packed, and each piece is sent out when its texture and temperature are where they should be.
That timing is the point. A hand roll arrives folded to order. Nigiri is ready when it reaches the table. Instead of building an order one piece at a time, you can give your attention to what is in front of you and let the next course follow.

There is no need to study the menu before you arrive. A Trust Me menu gives you a complete progression chosen to be enjoyed in order, rather than a long list to build course by course. Start with the option that feels right for your appetite, then let each plate do its job. The menu is intentionally focused, and the sushi is prepared and seasoned in the Nozawa style without substitutions.
When you are ready to visit, bring your whole party to the restaurant. SUGARFISH Calabasas seats guests first come, first served once everyone has arrived. That simple approach lets the dining room keep moving while the team sends out sushi at its best. A little planning, parking before your group walks in and leaving room to enjoy each course as it arrives, makes the experience feel easy from the first bite through the last hand roll. It gives first-time guests and regulars a clear rhythm from arrival through the final hand roll. Planning a dedicated Calabasas meal? The sushi in Calabasas guide brings together the Trust Me format, price basis, and ordering options.

At SUGARFISH, the menu is intentionally focused. Trust Me menus are served in sequence, so the meal can move from sashimi through nigiri and into hand rolls without a long pause between decisions. It is a straightforward way to experience sushi as Chef Kazunori Nozawa intended: simple, considered, and ready to eat when it reaches you.
The combination of warm rice and cool fish is central to that experience. Each course is prepared and seasoned before it comes to the table, which is why the best moment to eat it is right away. If you have food allergies, please let the team know. For menu details and current selections, view the Trust Me menus →.
